Hello, I'm Jobelle Tayawa, also known in some circles as Petra.

Botik can be understood as shortened "botika", a Filipino term for a pharmacy or drug store.

Botik can also be a variation of the English word (with its French roots) boutique, or a small shop.

On some days, I concoct images of fancy, like bits of a skinny model's legs pasted on newsprint pasted on a paper jeweled snake. A brew of nonsensical medley that I like to indulge myself sometimes.

On some days, I take snaps of my hometown if I'm not getting lost somewhere outside the city. It's an exercise in realizing and creating new worldviews. Weltanschauung. Visione mondiale. Pananaw-mundo. Sounds beautiful in different languages, right?

Welcome to my botik. Here you might just find that perfect vitamin or vitriol.
